Dance Camp for children · Vacation Workshop

DESCRIPTION:

A fun camp for children who enjoy moving and dancing! We are offering dance training in basic ballet and lots of fun Jazz to popular music while preparing a short show that we will show you at the end of the week. We will have fun playing games, practising some acrobatic tricks and relaxing in our snack and lunch breaks.

LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

For this workshop no previous knowledge is required. Classes are taught in English. Everyone is welcome.

Doors open at 8:45 AM
Please be there at 4:00PM to pick your child up!
Studio show: Thursday at 15:30

WHAT TO WEAR & WHAT TO BRING

Please wear freestyle, tight-fitting activewear. Clothes should not be restricting and should be age appropriate. Dance classes will be in either Jazz dance shoes, socks or ballet slippers. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the studio! Hair should be pulled up and away from the face. Please bring a water bottle.
Be sure to also provide your child with healthy snack and a packed lunch. Weather permitting we may spend some time in Friedrichshain Park.

Reimbursement Policy

a) WITHDRAWAL In case of cancellation, we refund the entire workshop fee minus a processing fee of 10€ up until 10 days before the workshop begins. Until 3 days before the workshop begins, we refund 50% of the workshop fee minus a processing fee of 10€. Afterwards, we don’t refund any fees.

b) MISSED CLASSES We do not offer credits or offer discounts if you can not attend certain days of the workshop. To cancel please send an email to martina@thecenter-berlin.de.

c) WORKSHOP CANCELED Workshops and Camps are held with a minimum of participants AND will only take place in the event that the studio is open for in-studio classes (Covid-19). If we don’t reach the minimum number 24 hours before the workshop begins or the studio has to close, the workshop will be canceled. You will receive an email notification. In this case, you can choose to keep the workshop credited in your bSport account or have the full fee refunded to your bank account.
