Ballet Classes for Ages 4–5 in Berlin – Imaginative, English-Language Dance for Young Children

This introductory ballet class invites children aged 4–5 to take their first steps into the world of dance. Young movers learn fundamental ballet steps while building balance, coordination and confidence in a warm, encouraging environment in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
To keep little imaginations fired up — and to support growing English skills — exercises are woven through with stories, songs and vivid imagery. One moment your child is a graceful swan, the next a fluttering butterfly, a mighty dinosaur or a shimmering fairy. It's ballet brought to life through play, making it the perfect first dance class for young children in Berlin's international community.
For this class, little dancers should be ready to join on their own.
Level Requirements
3-year-olds who join our classes regularly are welcome! For all other children, the minimum age is 4 years old. All children should be ready to join the class independently. If you're not sure whether your child will enjoy this workshop, please come to a trial session in one of our weekly classes.
What to Wear & What to Bring
For ballet classes, we recommend a leotard, ballet tights, soft ballet slippers, and hair in a bun or ponytail. Minimum outfit is: soft ballet slippers, leggings, and a fitted T-shirt. Please bring a water bottle.

It should be understood that the workshop requires a minimum number of participants. If the registration list does not meet the minimum number of participants required, the workshop will not happen and your payment will be refunded. Typically, we will confirm the workshop one week before. If you need the confirmation earlier, please send us an email.
