Contemporary Urban Fusion Dance Camp in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg – Teens 13+ | in English
Monday-Friday, 10AM-4PM
Age: 13-16 Yrs
5-16 participants
Fee: 295 EUR
Dance as if no one is watching! This camp is all about building confidence through movement. Over five days, students will explore a range of dance styles — K-Pop, contemporary, jazz, street dance, and hip hop — and blend them together into a contemporary urban fusion choreography. We finish the week by filming a short dance video together.
Contemporary urban fusion draws from modern, fluid movement rooted in contemporary and ballet technique, and combines it with urban styles like hip hop and street dance. It is about personal expression, musicality, and physicality in a non-competitive, creative environment.
Each day begins with a technique class in one of the styles above, covering the fundamentals of that genre alongside jumps, turns, and traveling steps — giving students a clear sense of what each style is and how it feels to dance it. The rest of the day is dedicated to developing and rehearsing the group choreography — cool, fun, and age-appropriate. On the final day, we film it. Let's focus on our most confident selves!
Group size: 5–16 participants. Recommended for students with at least 2 years of dance training. Taught in English — students still learning the language are warmly welcome.
