Pop Dance Summer Day Camp for Kids

Pop dance is where great music meets feel-good movement — drawing on jazz, commercial dance and contemporary choreography to create the kind of energetic, expressive dancing you see in music videos and on stage.
This five-day camp in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg is for children ages 8–11 who love music and movement. Taught in English and welcoming to children still learning the language, campers build coordination, rhythm, timing, turns, jumps and footwork through creative exercises set to fun pop songs and kid-friendly hits. The week builds towards one energetic group choreography, performed at a studio show on Friday.
No previous experience needed. No competition — just a lively group of children dancing, laughing and having a brilliant time together.
Level Requirements
No previous skills required. Classes are held in English. Children who are still learning English are welcome.

What to Wear & What to Bring
Clothes and shoes: Please wear freestyle, tight-fitting activewear (Leggings, leotard, dance shorts, tight fitted tops). Clothes should not be restricting and also not baggy. Dance classes can be in either Ballet slippers or Jazz dance shoes. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the studio! Hair should be pulled up and away from the face. Please bring a water bottle.
Lunch: Be sure to also provide your child with a healthy snack, packed lunch, sunhat and sunscreen! Weather permitting we will spend as much time as we can in Friedrichshain Park during our lunch break.
Workshop Confirmation Info
It should be understood that the workshop requires a minimum number of participants. If the registration list does not meet the minimum number of participants required, the workshop will not happen and your payment will be refunded. Typically, we will confirm the workshop one week before. If you need the confirmation earlier, please send us an email.
