Start Ballet at Any Age – Classical Ballet for Adult Beginners in English

Are you brand new to ballet? If you answered YES, then the Introduction to Ballet workshop is just for you! In this 6 hour workshop, you will learn ballet vocabulary, positions, and exercises of the barre leading into learning basic turns, leaps and jumps. The technique will be broken down to it’s core so students can better grasp the values, discipline, and foundations of ballet. After completing this course you will be ready to start the "Ballet Beginners 1" class. Limited spots available!

• What to Wear

  Ballet shoes are required. Ballet leotard and tights are recommended. If you don't have a ballet leotard yet, please bring tight fitting leggings and a T-shirt. Hair should be pulled up and away from the face. Please bring a water bottle.

  We recommend a local dance shop, ProDanse, in Alte Schönhauser Str. 16, 10119 Berlin for all your dance attire needs.

• Cancellation and Refund Policies

  a) Withdrawal
  In case of cancellation, we refund the entire workshop fee minus a processing fee of 10€ up until 10 days before the workshop begins. Until 3 days before the workshop begins, we refund 50% of the workshop fee minus a processing fee of 10€. Afterwards, we don’t refund any fees.

  b) Missed Classes
  We do not offer credits or offer discounts if you can not attend certain days of the workshop.

  
  c) Workshop Cancelation
  Workshops and Camps are held with a minimum of participants. If we don’t reach the minimum number 24 hours before the workshop begins or the workshop can not happen due to other unforeseeable events, the workshop will be canceled. You will receive an email notification. In this case, you can choose to keep the workshop credited in your bSport account or have the full fee refunded to your bank account.
