Ballet Vacation Workshop for kids & teens in English · beginner level

This is a beginning level ballet class for older children and teenagers. No previous ballet training is required. This class teaches you beginning ballet steps, vocabulary, and technique and will allow you to gain a good understanding of basic ballet. Classes start with exercises at the barre, which support the balance of the body and are the foundation for all the other ballet exercises. Barre and center work include various routines designed to increase strength, mobility, and correct placement.
LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
No previous experience in ballet is required.
WHAT TO WEAR & WHAT TO BRING
Please wear a freestyle ballet outfit. Ballet classes will require a leotard, ballet tights, soft ballet slippers and your hair in a bun. Ballet shoes are recommended, socks are permitted. Please bring a water bottle.
We recommend a local dance shop, ProDanse, for all your dance attire needs.
