DESCRIPTION
This workshop is an introduction to contemporary dance designed for those who have not danced before and would like to give it a try. Participants will warm up through a guided improvisation and be introduced to new ways of thinking about the body in motion. Reimagining what’s possible within the human form and moving it through space. The workshop will progress into learning dynamic, flowing choreography combinations made specifically for the group.
WHAT TO WEAR / WHAT TO BRING
Please bring a freestyle dance outfit and a water bottle. No shoes required.
We recommend a local dance shop, ProDanse, for all your dance attire needs.
